A few years ago, the quays of the Seine in the 15th arrondissement were not popular with visitors. However, the opening of the superb Parc André Citroën and the beautifully designed Beaugrenelle shopping centre have given the area an undeniable momentum. L’Arche Javel is effectively an extension of the Parc André Citroën, situated at the Port de Javel. It occupies some 4,500 m², partly on the riverbank and partly on a barge that boasts three levels and a rooftop swimming pool.
