If you’re planning a holiday or break in Paris soon, it’s worth bearing in mind that monuments are not the only riches in the French capital. The City of Lights also has lots of beautiful parks for you to discover and André Citroen Park is one of the more interesting and surprising.
Paris and parks: A change of scenery
As you plan your Parisian itinerary, you’ve almost certainly included some of the most popular tourist activities like a visit to the Eiffel Tower or a walk in Montmartre. However, Paris has an abundance of unusual and beautiful green spaces that would be a worthy addition to your programme. We love trying to surprise you with a selection of the most exciting and out of the ordinary places. Of course, the Platine Hotel, located between the Eiffel Tower and Parc des Exhibitions, is certainly out of the ordinary. Your luxury hotel will surprise you with its unique fifties atmosphere inspired by one of Hollywood’s most glamorous icons and there are other surprises to be found nearby. Take time to discover Parc André Citroen, a wonderful space that deserves your attention in many ways.
Le Parc André Citroën: A single green space in the heart of Paris
The park is close to the Platine Hotel and it reveals its full potential during the summer months. Various entertainment areas scattered among its green lawns make this beautiful park a lively place to be. The park opened in 1992, and it was created by several landscapers and renowned architects such as Alain Provost and Patrick Berger. It is famous for its iconic ball, a wonderful landmark that rises 150m above the ground and offers one of the most magnificent panoramic views of Paris - an experience the Platine team highly recommends!
